The effect of rabbit control and RHD on vegetation condition and grazing patterns of marsupial herbivores in the Coorong National Park.

Long-term research has implicated rabbits in the suppression of perennial plants and native herbivores in the sandy coastal scrub in Coorong National Park. These studies were expanded following the arrival of RHD in late 1996 to more broadly assess implications for flora and fauna of the park. The vertebrate survey methodology followed that in the Flinders Ranges and vegetation changes were assessed by biomass estimates from small quadrats.
