National Feral Rabbit Management Coordinator resources

Heidi Kleinert is the National Feral Rabbit Management Coordinator, based with the Centre for Invasive Species Solutions (CISS).

Her role was established to facilitate a more collaborative and inclusive approach to managing Australia’s most invasive and damaging species, the European rabbit.

The aim is to create a strong collaborative culture across Australia so those impacted by rabbits can successfully manage rabbits in their area, through easy access to information, using best practice and having successful partnerships with others.

The program relies on cooperation and collaboration between a large range of stakeholders from across Australia, including First Nations Peoples, community, not for profits, government and industry that have an interest in feral rabbit management. Read more about the CISS program.
